Built for campus safety teams

Campus safety software and case management, configured for a department that works in shifts.

Intake form

A campus safety tip line that needs no name

Community members report through a form your department controls. Unattributed tips are supported, with a reply route that never exposes the sender.

Case attributes

Incident facts as structured data

Record type, location, time and disposition as fields rather than prose, so the same incident can be found by any of them later.

Party flag types

Campus safety flags officers see immediately

Attach a flag to a person or a location and it surfaces the next time either appears, without anyone reading the whole history.

Task templates

The follow-up every incident needs

Save the standard sequence — evidence handling, return visits, referral — and apply it in one step, so a shift change does not lose it.

Event types

Follow-up placed on the incident

Return visits, evidence deadlines and review points are logged as dated items on the incident, surviving a change of shift.

Case numbering

Report numbers in your format

Choose how an incident identifier is composed, so a report number reads like the ones already filling your files.

Notifications

The right officer hears about it

Route alerts by role and by incident category instead of sending every message to everyone on the roster.

Case reports

Campus safety case reports by type, place and hour

Aggregate incidents across location and time of day, and keep the report definition for recurring review.

Audit trail

An append-only history of the response

Incident records are reviewed after the fact, sometimes by people with authority over the department. Entries are added rather than overwritten, so the sequence of what was known and when cannot quietly change.

Reporting party portal

Keeping the reporter informed without exposing the file

A reporter can follow progress and add information through a portal that shows them their own matter and nothing else.

Anonymous reporting

A tip that needs no identity to be useful

Reports can be filed anonymously and still support two-way follow-up through an access key, so anonymity does not end the conversation. The anonymous reporting system page shows how a tip becomes a case.

Questions we get

What is campus safety software for incident reporting?

It records each incident and the response to it as a case: what was reported and by whom, what the team did, and which decisions were made and when. For a campus or district safety department it also holds the daily log, Clery categories and locations, timely warning decisions and the referrals that follow.

Does it replace a records management system?

No. It runs the case side: what your team did after an incident, who was involved, what was decided and what was documented.

Can it capture the fields Clery reporting needs?

Your team builds the fields, categories and locations it reports on, so the information is captured at intake rather than reconstructed later.

Can safety staff file into another department's process?

Yes. A report can be routed to conduct, Title IX or a behavioral team, and the cases stay connected.

Who can see a safety case?

Access follows the role, and departments don't see each other's cases unless you allow it.

Can the daily log be exported in the format we publish?

Yes. The log is a view of the cases rather than a second list somebody retypes, and it exports for publication.

Does it handle reports made to a campus security authority rather than police?

Yes. CSA reports can come in through their own form and sit alongside police reports in the same record, which is usually where the gaps appear.

Can geography be classified once and reused?

Yes. Where an incident happened is decided when it is logged and carries through to reporting, instead of being re-argued the following September.

Can an incident connect to a conduct case without merging them?

Yes. The two stay separate cases with separate permissions and a visible link, so neither team loses control of its own file.

Can we track timely warnings and when they went out?

Yes. The decision, the content and the time it was issued are recorded against the incident rather than living in an email thread.

Who can see an open safety investigation?

Only the people you name. Access is per case, and views are logged, which matters when an incident involves a member of staff.
